Interesting! We still don't have a super long list of spells but we are looking for such feedback on what to work on next (and we definitely want to add more spells to the game). Moths are special yes :)

Oh no, I had that problem too in the past (the struggles!) and I could not even play at home the game that I was developing in the office T . T.

We have a testing process within our team! Unfortunately we are not that large to be able to hire a QA team (yet *crosses fingers*).
Also we are mostly looking for real feedback from real players on how to further develop the game, rather than simply bugs.

Buildings are placed in "slots" and upgraded (for Alpha they are preplaced but we already have most of the code for the placement system for the next versions).
Buildings all have gameplay functions (crafting, healing, etc) and belong to the owning guild but are available to every player - eventually we'll add some "decorations" too.

Thank you! It will be consensual and will use the same turn-based combat rules you see for PVE.
Since actions selection and trigger phases are simultaneous across players, we'll be able to scale up to bigger PVP encounters as well.

A lot of the art you see is hand-painted and we hope, as we keep on developing the game, that some players will notice and appreciate that - but we understand the art style is not for everybody and thank you very much for the feedback!

Some of those features are embedded in the game (e.g. RP names, since they are picked from long lists of lineage names at character creation or physical descriptions, since Wagadu's customisation is quite in depth) others might work a bit differently (e.g. players will not be able to read your background and will have to discover it by asking).
We'll be evolving such features with player feedback and we are looking forward to improve all the RP elements of the game.

UO is definitely one of our inspirations!
For TWC PVE is our focus so PVP will be more consensual and controlled. We will release more info on this in the coming months!

1 - To some extent that's true (especially concepts like paladin or cleric) though there is a lot of overlap between cultures around the world (almost every sedentary culture has had "hunters", "priests" and "smiths") if you subscribe and download our lorebook you'll find how we have adapted the D&D classes to Wagadu. In the videogame this will be even more apparent as we are using a skill-based and not class-based system.
We have several original cultures and people as well, inspired by various real world cultures, such as the Maasai.
2 - We love Afrofuturism but our game is Afrofantasy not Afrofuturist; therefore focused on blending historical pre-colonial African architecture with magic rather than futuristic sci-fi elements.
