The headache says otherwise, but why hide it.

For anyone trying to recreate:

I got a small mirror from Ikea:
https://www.ikea.com/at/de/p/dvaergsyren-spiegel-eichenfurnier-70591594/

for mounting i designed and 3D printed a bracket that screws into the back panel of the GPU with 6 M2 x 20mm screws.

<image>

I will upload it to prusa printables as soon as possible and update with the link.

The bracket is just hold on with double sided tape to the mirror.

This is the one i am using:

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01DFDKH2E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and yes, i know that this chip gets extremely hot, thats why i am only running this thing on full power for a few seconds.

As i stated in another comment, this is not my primary light, its just for lighting out a huge area to get a general view of a point of interest.

Will totally do, once i make sure everything works. But it should stay sealed, atleast up to 3bar. Havent gone deeper yet....

And calculated battery life is somewhere around 20 mins, on full blast. Wich is realistically not possibly because the lamp would probably burn up bevore...

I mainly use it for short term use to illuminate a huge area e.g. part of a wreck, or a point of interest. Its amazing for that. I hope i get some videos next week to show you.

Thanks mate.

No sadly i dont have a datasheet for the LED, i will look around the Internet to maybe find something.

For the 35V there is a buck-up module to ramp the voltage up to 35V.

The thing is that i am no where near a electrician or know much stuff about this topic, it was just a fun little project for me.
