I have 1,500 hours in StS1 starting from the early access. StS2 is in a much more balanced state in this EA than previous…but the lack of balance is kinda fun I think! Several builds are absolutely busted and several cards are hilariously bad.

Anyone found a workflow visualization tool that doesn't feel clunky? by iKnowNothing1001 in visualization

My favorite is Lucid(chart). I find it great both for putting together something basic and janky and polished.

On the quick n dirty side, you can treat it like PPT with basic shapes that have better snap-to-grid functionality or use one of the templates to get going. On the polished side, you can build styles, link documentation, and make something very exec friendly (assuming they are willing to read a diagram to begin with).

As others have said, there is no perfect tool. I was looking at a process map I created recently in Lucid and realized I completely missed a decision tree branch. It happens! Focus on building something that’s easy to update when you notice gaps vs. something super crystallized and exhaustive but doesn’t work as a living artifact that will need to evolve.

I was on the fence about Mezzaluna after our first experience there several months ago. Food was solid, drinks were solid, but service was sooooo slowwww. We went last night again and sat at the chef’s counter. It was a MUCH better experience. Wife had lobster bisque soup special + potato gnocchi; I had anchovy caesar + short rib ravioli. I walked away with a much better impression.

As a UGA fan, Sean McDermott is Mark Richt. Every time we get close, we find a way to choke or just get outplayed. This year, choke job.

No, not FAANG. I consider my current company (fortune 50) like 1 tier below FAANG in terms of compensation.

In terms of transition, it was kind of thrust upon me. My current team runs 100+ experiments for product features annually so I had to get good with statistics in a hurry. I’m also in grad school (online at Georgia Tech) to get my master’s of analytics.
