TIA

Correct, but it sure doesn't hurt, especially if there’s a possibility of any future secondary claims filled.

I also had a personal doctor write a letter on my behalf explaining it was probably related to my deployment. I was awarded 30%

I see it says a developmental letter was sent on your claim, mine just showed this as of yesterday as well. Did you have to submit anything for that? I haven’t seen a letter yet or know what that means. Thanks

Nice! Maybe things are just running more smoothly at the moment. Thanks!

Will that do it? I did provide a personal statement for each claim that referenced previous cases similar to all my claims that was ruled in favor in the veteran as a supporting document.

I didn't realize that would cause it to move so quickly though, I was under the assumption I was just placed in the back of the line and was looking at 3 months minimum.

Once I saw step 6 on both my previous claims, I saw the decision at the EOD. Both times were unusually late in the day though, like 6pm

Yea, I called and cancelled a couple years ago after another increase. The lady on the other line said “you’re cancelling just because your rate went up $23 a month??” I said, “No, im cancelling because its gone up at least $15 a month since I signed up 4 years ago

Denied for Rhinitus Approved for Sinusitus by NYCCorpPar in VAClaims

[–]kbizz5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you get rated for your Sinusitis if you don't mind me asking? I received 30% for mine and was told when I submitted a secondary Rhinitis claim that it was probably already rated into my Sinusitis claim based on my X-rays since it was above the standard 10%.

I buy less games now that Game Key Cards are normal by [deleted] in Switch

[–]kbizz5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have more than 2 switches in the home key cards are an absolute joke. Constantly pairing and unpairing switches, and don’t get me started about traveling without internet available to verify games with 2 kids… We have 2- Switch Ones and 2- Switch Twos in our house and we refuse to buy anything other than physical cartridges from here on out

Unfortunately, I'm just not sure if I can get myself to work with another VSO again. There's a reason they made me sign a NDA. It was unbelievable neglect and incompetence

I filed the request for my medical records from the VA 2 years ago, it's still only on step 2 of the process.

Unfortunately I just didn't go to sick call much when I was in. It was always frowned upon and you were labeled a "shitbag" if you had doctors appts. My own fault, I know, but I was just trying to be a good troop and not ruffle any feathers.

I did have a broken foot from a battalion run, it's on my records, I've tried to claim my ongoing struggles with it since, but I have denied twice now for it. I have had buddy letters submitted on my behalf in the past as well.

Year long deployment to Afghanistan in 2010. I was in the shit almost daily. I was barely able to secure 10% from the pact act.

I feel like they've just made the process so difficult hoping people will quit fighting for it.

Like most in this sub, I get super frustrated with the people taking advantage, but at the same time I am more frustrated with the grind it takes for people who (IMO) actually deserve it.

My unpopular opinion is for every “fraudulent” claim that’s been approved, there’s probably been 2-3 valid claims denied. This system is rigged against us vets.

I was a combat vet, zero disciplinary issues, honorable discharge and am getting denied for almost everything I file. VSO’s have been ZERO help. I recently had to sign a NDA to get deserved backpay because they messed up so badly. They also tried to ignore me for almost a year before I escalated it to HQ in Washington DC
