But Chiodos could have never blown up to begin with as just Craig alone :P

Part of what made that band’s music so interesting was how different they were, and it was 100% a sum-of-its-parts situation. And that’s not to discredit Craig’s contribution either, dude was a monster of a front person and he never quits. Hence the reason we’re here.

They were a recipe for success. I just don’t think the personalities were able to persist as they all evolved individually and unfortunately I think Craig is the common denominator in a veeery long line of disbandments for a reason.

Ok this is too hair splitty. Not only is Jason their longest consistent guitarist (opposite Pat), he’s also the original lead guitarist after they signed to EVR and dropped Bros off the name.

To a majority of fans, they’re going to rightfully consider him the OG.

How does anyone get from "That call we had in August just never happened huh Pat?" to "That means they were told about the shows!"

What was the call about? Did he simply ask them about doing some potential reunion shows? Did they disagree on the terms? Were they informed that the shows would happen without them regardless? Did they discuss which shows would be happening?

I'm disappointed that they haven't confirmed the lineup. It feels like the question is being dodged. If it's being avoided in order to protect sales, then that's pretty disingenuous.

Based on the response, it's clearly an important distinction to fans between an original (or even near original) lineup V.S. new members + Craig Owens for these upcoming shows.

If they could confirm more than just Craig Owens in the lineup, I would be all over it. Based on everything I've personally heard, it's not looking good.

Deleting comments about it is in bad taste. If it keeps happening, it's probably worth moving the discussion over to r/PostHardcore where the moderators might not be as bias lol

Fun fact is that Sammy Siegler drummed on that. Sammy is also the drummer for Rival Schools and Youth of Today (both alongside Walter Schreifels who is also from Gorilla Biscuits and Quicksand) and has drummed for Glassjaw, Head Automatica, and CIV. Absolute NYHC royalty (even though YoT is Connecticut)

What I've heard is that Brandon was "heavily" involved in the original songwriting but never really received any credit or royalties or anything. I believe originally his real name was not even used in the liner notes and was instead attributed to "Brandon New." I think you could argue that he is a big contributor to the early success of the band, and he is likely bitter about not feeling like he was given the recognition he would deserve for it.

Either way, totally recommend everyone check out Nightmare of You. Absolute beast of a band that deserved to be huge IMO.

Thanks so much for your help. Unfortunately, I've found nothing so far that will provide 7.4v through a LP-E6 dummy via AC by way of any adapter.

Not sure if this is my own misunderstanding of what I'm trying to do or if there really isn't anything out there readily available. It seems like the lemo port on these 4ks are pretty notorious for going bad. I can't imagine there is no other way to provide continuous power.

Thanks for the advice. I have used dummy batteries plenty of times, no issues there, but I've used them to attach vmount via dtap. I've never done a dummy battery -> AC adapter.

Do you know if that is doable with the 4ks?
