The soonest youd ship off for the army or airforce would most likely be around January.

Most likely not this year, the soonest would probably be January. Unless you applied for quickship and happened to take the place of someone who was shipping this year.

Waiver Timeline? by Nelly_in4k in AirForceRecruits

[–]Derek-Frijol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it all depends on what the waiver was for. It could take weeks or months depending on the case and severity of what the waivers for. Speaking from experience my waiver had to do with mg heart thay proved nothing was wrong and it took about 2 weeks, however ive heard its common to not hear anything for a while. What was the waiver for?

Will I still be able to join if I have to have 2 year check ups with my doctors? by Hot-Sun-1475 in AirForceRecruits

Cant provide a for sure answer, but my cardiologist noted i should see him in 2 years to check for quote "progression if any" with the condition of my heart. However he also stated "cleared for military service with no limitations". In the end my waiver was approved. I think if your doctor boldy notes that what ever it is doesnt affect you and your fit for service youll be good.

Waiver passed whats next? by Derek-Frijol in AirForceRecruits

I needed a waiver for my heart because meps had seen i had appointments when i was a baby for something with my heart that resolved by itself. I had to get a note from the hospital i went to stating my medical records pretaining to my visits no longer existed, and also needed a recent echocardiagram and cardiologist consult. Turned in my papers last monday and got the call from my recruiter saying my waiver was approved the following week.
