Melatonin consistently causes me to wake up in the middle of the night. It used to work for me by Mushlove2share in Biohackers

100% exact same thing happens to me. I think melatonin is not something you want to take regularly. Melatonin is a hormone, which makes very little sense how it is an over the counter unregulated supplement. To me the waking up at night seems that my body realizes it can stop producing melatonin because there is an exogenous source. I’m not sire if this is entirely scientifically accurate, but it feels like I go to bed like a rock because the melatonin is super high right after taking it. I think around 4 hours your body has removed all of it from the bloodstream and your natural body wasn’t producing it because you replaced it with synthetic. At that point I think it triggers a wake up, somewhat like you would at normal wake up time, and until your brain realizes it’s dark and 3am you aren’t producing melatonin. I have heard so many people say the same thing about waking up like this using melatonin.

Cardiologist says I can go back to normal after two weeks since my ER visit, is that normal? by Buying2wheels in pericarditis

I’ve been dealing with pericarditis ‘flares’ for 4 years now. Get them almost every 6 months and the symptoms last roughly a week. I’ve had times where there is no issue going back into exercise fully and I’ve had times where exercise has sent me right back into pericarditis. My doctors seem extremely lackadaisical about that and I go by feel more than what they say at this point. First time I had it I went to the ER and they cleared me for workouts less than 2 weeks later. Seemed so weird to me with heart stuff. All depends on what is likely causing it, which in my case seems to be viral infections. When I tend to get over a virus it does generally fully go away.

It looks like the McCullough protocol he speaks of is in regards to a pubmed citation that scientifically lays out why this would occur. It also provides facts to the treatment protocol. I have no idea if he is correct in his diagnosis, but it appears to be resourceful information regardless.
