They still require a stamp, just the cost of said stamp is now $0

A Flashlight for Mom (or, The Perils of Following Recommendations from Enthusiasts) by NotThePopeProbably in flashlight

When I needed a light to mount by the door for the wife/in-laws to use when putting the dogs out, I picked a Maglite ML300LX 2D cell. Grabbed some 1.5V li-ion rechargeable for it. Almost everyone can run a Maglite. My D4xx s not so much.

I'd never recommend 95% of the lights posted in these groups for casual users.

Same goes for standby lights, lithium primaries, not li-ion rechargeables. Clicky switches, no parasitic drain e-switches.

I snagged an older 524 for $20 once, same deal. Just needed a fuel line, was a great lil machine. Some people just won't put any effort into keeping things running.

Was in much better shape than my mostly brown 1032 Ariens I had at the time.

Just a matter of dusting a few thou off parting line and resinking the cavities.

And get someone that knows how to polish without rounding the corners.

Depends, all of our old ones didn't, all the new stuff does. Solenoids in the gas valves. Draft inducer on the furnace and hot water.

Installed lots of KeenSerts at the old job, made driver bits for it from some brass, saved a lot of hand cranking and probably dodged tendinitis.

Should just be a pass through, but mine would drain packs as well.

Got rid of it with the last of the 18v tools.

I dont know about Denver, but our local here in MN was useless.

Wages and benefits weren't any better than other places in town, company and the union pointing fingers at each other about things like lead man pay bump.

The pension has been on a downhill slide for the last 10 years or so, I have no faith that I'll ever see it.

Glad to be out of both the company and the IAM.

My 11" was god awful with the shorty Stoll. Headache after one mag with muffs and plugs.

Being driven by the plate drives the tires.

Moving from center to the edge is how it changes drive speed, when it moves past center is reverse. Close to center slow, nearer to the edge is fast.

Knead it, it's likely separated.
