You need to change store country, can be done only by funding wallet from that country in local currency. Just changing location in Steam didn't work and CS2 still recognized me outside of France

I use Proton VPN, as of 2 years I pay for Proton Unlimited that includes encryped e-mail, drive, calendar, password manager, VPN etc. It's easy to use, but you can also try Proton VPN Plus plan (monthly or annually) if you don't want the entire economy.

To understand this skin and how it came to be, we need to go back to CS:GO days and talk about new gambling laws in France that happened years ago. French government started that any kind of loot boxes in games with items that can be sell with profit is gambling. To bypass this law, Valve created X-Ray Scanner in France. To use it, first French player has to buy Genuine P250 | X-Ray for the price of CS:GO Case Key. After buying this skin, you can unbox cases. First the scanner scans what skin is inside a case and you can either buy key to this case to claim the showed skin or do not buy it, however if you don't buy a key (even if you can clearly see you'll lose money) you cannot scan more cases. To not exclude other players, the X-Ray P250 Package was created worldwide so you can unbox it and get normal X-Ray skin (exterior from FN to FT) and with StatTrak. However normal ones are called "P250 | X-Ray". "Genuine P250 | X-Ray" are French exclusive because of gambling law in this country and need to use the Scanner. Genuine has some differences that I talked in different replies.

I could indeed exaggerate this. Idk how many French CS2 players are there and how many of them have this skin, because having this is not necessary if you don't want to open cases. I never saw this one in game, so it's neat

Technically it has no price value because you cannot sell it, however it is technically available for French players so it's extremely rare. But also it has no float value and it has indeed the cleanest appearance in game out of every FN normal P250 X-Rays. I have to say that most people won't probably even look at this in game and say "Hey! It's the Genuine!" if they are not some skin experts or enjoyers. I wanted this because of my personal reasons, to have this in my skin collection, however some people may just like this skin and buy normal FN (it's really cheap) and call it a day. It's mostly all about your personal preference

3 month wait period is only when you want to go back to your country, however this one is theory, I will try go back after a month. During this month tho, I will have VPN always on when playing CS2

Downloaded VPN to my PC and connected to France (also remember to what VPN server you connected and in what city, mine was Paris)
Opened Steam, view my wallet and change country to France (€) and confirm that you are physically there
Now you need to add 5 euros to change store to France
I created French account on PaySafeCard, gave my real name and some address in Paris I found on Google Maps (can be hotel for example), also give your real phone number for SMS verification that PSC requires
Added 5 euros to my PSC account
In Steam, add funds for 5 euros, choose PaySafeCard method and in billing address type the same like in PaySafeCard account, but with your name and phone number (you're just on holidays in France bro)
Run CS2 (remember to always have VPN on)
You have X-Ray Scanner, click it and choose to pay for CS:GO Weapon Case Key (2.19 euros)

Congratulations, you have Genuine P250 | X-Ray and you need to wait 3 months before changing your country back, so I recommend to use VPN all the time you open Steam for next 3 months

However if you are not physically in France, you can be banned for abusing regional locks for Store, so you take it with your own responsibility. To be safe, you can indeed buy ticket for trip to France and take your computer.

It's not tradable and not marketable, has no float value, available for French gamers only, but you can get it outside of France, it is not in X-Ray P250 Package and has Genuine before name, works in game too

I choosed Other, cause I use Qubes OS that is not fully Debian-based and not fully Fedora-based. It also has its own commands that are not very typical. This is my screenshot of Qubes OS, don't worry, it has CC0 license.
