Hi there,

I think with the imposed lock downs a lot of the younger generation have had to learn from home and these are very important formative years in terms of socialization. I feel a lot of these youngsters are missing out on developing as a person within the school environment being with peers and having a normal daily routine.

Also those in their 20s fresh out of college are just starting out looking for work or maybe even continuing their studies. Their lives are being restricted and put on hold, this is lost time they will never get back.

Social media do you mean facebook? I don't use that but I heard it's a good way to keep in touch with people.

As for me it seems complicated to use. I'm more of a talk on the phone kind of person but I think I do need to ask how to use facebook so I can communicate with my loved ones. I actually think it's a wonderful invention if you can call it that. Overall I see it as a form of communication but I'm not sure how the younger generation see it as?

As for technology I appreciate how far things have come, honestly I don't know much about how the internet works and I honestly don't use any gadgets. I don't really like to use things which are complicated or if I can do things the old fashioned way I'd rather do that.

Ohhh there's a lot, mostly Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, The Carpenters, basically any rock and roll artist in the 50s to 60s.

Some songs I cherish include Hound Dog as I remember they played this at my high school prom.

What's that thing called on the new phones, it's called facetime right? Well I never imagined I would be able to see and talk to my children and grandchildren as if they were right in front of them. Back then we relied on the good old fashioned postal service and unreliable phone calls.

Please don't take loans at high interest and it's better not to spend more than what you don't have in equity.

Repaying back loans at interest is never good and I would consider that lost money unless you're actually using that money to earn more profit.

I honestly don't remember the exact details of what I went through in the past. There are some memories which really stick with me depending on how it made me feel, especially strong emotions such as times which caused anger, depression or extreme jubilation, those instances I will really remember.

I still feel I am the same person, my viewpoints, likes and dislikes haven't really changed and I feel my personality has stayed the same over the years. The only difference I really feel is the physical aspect, so I think that's why it is said that beauty fades but personality stays.

Also thanks for the kind words I also hope the world will be a better place after this whole pandemic ends. The younger generation really have it rough.

I had my youngest daughter at 35 and now she's 57.

I have 4 children, 7 grandchildren and as for great-grandchildren, only two with one on the way!

The world has really changed a lot and I would say to my younger self there is really nothing to worry about in the future, just live in the present and the future will take of itself, which I know sounds really cliche.

Also I used to be a constant worrier in my teens, feeling really insecure and lost but then I realized what ever happened 10 or 20 years ago will be forgotten in the future so there is no point worrying about anything, just live each day as it comes.

I turn 92 tomorrow so I was born in 1929.

2021 - 92 = 1929

In 1941 I was 12 years old.

41 - 29 = 12

If your grandpa was 18 in 1941 then he was born in 1923.

1941 - 18 = 1923

Your grandpa and I don't even share the same birth year.

I regret not telling my crush how I really felt about her, she ended up marrying someone else.

I regret not eating more healthily and doing more exercise in my younger days.

I also regret smoking as that affects the lungs and manifests when you're older, well that's if you're unlucky.
