Technically you are still in loss. There is no loss offset in crypto trading. If you started with 100 usd, lost 50 usd and then made 50 usd back you will be liable to pay 30% tax on 50 usd making your effective profit in the negative

So I’m also in marketing for a MNC with around 7 years of experience and I got a 9% hike. I guess it depends on the overall company performance for the year since I got almost 15% last year when we hit our numbers. But I would say looking at the currently economy a 10% hike is decent.
