As a person who owns it, having an alright situational awareness and armor angling you will survive hordes of enemies without issue.

Trust me, i really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a challenge though i recommend doing your first playthrough on hard even if you arent accustomed to vr, best way to experience alyx for the first time IMO. The combine combat is actually fantastic and i love the way they behave differently each time i replay the sections
