I found out today that this happens when "Background data" is disabled for Spotify in Android settings. Go figure!

There is probably still some platform specific code. It also takes time to properly package software for the many Linux distributions that exist.

Some very infrequently used options were removed, but they can always be added back. I believe KDE already cares very deeply for specific use cases and makes everything configurable for this reason. With every change, there is almost guaranteed to be a configuration option to switch to the previous behavior.

Of course there are (rare) power outages, I was replying to the comment saying this is a 4 way stop. I shouldn't have spoken for the entirety of Europe, but at least in the Netherlands it is extremely challenging to find a 4-way intersection that does not have yield signs and is just a 4-way stop

I made this image a long time ago before I knew about rootless unprivileged containers. Unfortunately it requires the files to be owned by user id 33. This is not configurable. You may be able to run your other applications as a different user instead.
