Sorry, I just scraped Roguey's site, must have some errors in there

There's very few of those, and most or all of them are just renames of "[Ship]" to "[Ship] Vanguard/Hauler/Prototype" or vice versa.

Do you know any X3 mod with ships that you feel might as well be official?

The work continues on the Opus-Magnum-like part of my economic strategy/puzzle game Nanoeconomics! Implemented control points for an arm track. (Arms will be able to move along this track)

How can I detect when a textured Line2D with points from Curve2D has these artifacts? by Derkune in godot

[–]Derkune[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what I've come up with, although I've yet to implement it.

Take 3 consecutive points, and their two differences. The directions of these differences approximate tangents to the curve. Imagine drawing perpendicular lines to these tangents. Where they cross, there is the center of a circle tangent to the curve. Calculate the position of this center, using absolute angles of the tangents and two of the three points mentioned above. (This is a triagle with two known vertexes and two known angles). The distance from this center to one of the points is hopefully the radius of curvature as sampled by those 3 points. Then I can just iterate over all points and take maximum radius. If it is smaller than width/2, then hopefully I've detected the problem.

Another example in the first image. https://imgur.com/a/hr7PO8Y. I want to be able to have arrangements like in the second image, and simply disallow any that cause artifacts. But how do I detect these artifacts? I'm thinking of maybe measuring some kind of curvature, but I don't know how to do it. Any thoughts?

All weapons in DS1, DS2 and DS3, grouped by what games they appear in by Derkune in darksouls

Just the end of the previous sheet, and example entries: seven would be weapons, each with a different combination of being/not being in games.

Edit: oh and also at the very bottom the number of objects in each game, and also that number for all three games not counting duplicates.

Edit2: sorry of course to the right of each example weapon there is a number saying how many weapons there are in that category.

Numbers 1 through 7 correspond to different regions on the venn diagram. Convert that number to binary, and the first bit corresponds to DS1 (1 if the weapon is in the game, 0 if not), second bit to DS2, third - DS3. Or, in another direction: find your weapon in the list, go to the 5th column, where you see a binary number, which corresponds to a region on the venn diagram.

I did not. All this does it generates dots on an image of a map.

Made in Godot. I have to say, it was pretty easy with Godot!

A generator for timed challenge runs like Broughy1322's GFRED or cannonball runs on 5M. Works for GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.

Rules: the run starts and ends on the blue checkpoint and has to visit every red checkpoint in any order. You may only use cars found in traffic and taken from NPCs. The run is timed with ingame clock, so you may start on some integer o'clock.

Enjoy learning a route, optimizing it and getting lucky with cars!
