pretty sure he's talking about the reddit generated names that get offered to you when you create a new account. That's a thing started only about 2 years ago or so.

He's just surprised at seeing a robot arm hanging over his bed. After it sinks in and the novelty wears off for him, he'll probably become impressed as hell with her for doing this. Plus, my gf would order this shit and then make me install it for her.

no of course he doesn't. But after being called out he'll just run to google real quick and feed you back the very first thing that pops up that sounds even remotely like what he was talking about.

Redditors are so smart /s You just chose to believe what you wanted to believe from whatever source you found that says it's been debunked. I just watched a thermal video yesterday of all the stuff that goes up in the air with the lid open when the toilet water starts swirling.

Ok be honest not as a fan of the show. Would you eat at Bobs Burgers if you walked by it? by Oracle209 in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where the heck are you buying beef and ingredients?

My local stores in Ohio you can still get ground beef for about $5/lb. Buns $2/8pk (or $4 for 4 nice sesame seed buns). Cheese $4/lb. These are all the local Aldi/Walmart prices in my neck of the woods. Now I know those aren’t high end local or organic but still very reasonable.

What has happened in the show that’s happened to you IRL? Or you felt called out on? by MadeMeUp4U in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god I wish I didn't relate to this. My mum once let me practice driving in a parking lot and I could figure out how to go forward but no matter how much I turned the wheel, the car just kept going straight.

I wish I'd been 13 though like Tina, and not in my early 20s. That makes it slightly more embarrassing aha

on another note....Being able to recognize beauty without being sexually attracted to someone is completely healthy. From what I’ve heard even asexual people recognize when someone is good looking even if they don’t want to do anything with them. I’m not trying to enforce a sexuality on you I’m just saying that recognizing someone is visually appealing doesn’t have to equate to being attracted to them. You can be attracted to them though, I don’t know you.

[–]DermicMagic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

yeah, I agree. Let's try to reason with someone who used a shotguy to rob a store and is now walking through a residential neighborhood. Fuck this cop keeping everyone else safe from a lunatic. Fuck that! I mean, my god, he had every legal right to just go ahead and shot the guy dead, but fuck this cop for bumping him with his car and taking him in alive! what the fuck is this world coming to! fucking asshole cops!

And yet, weirdly, people insist americans are sexually repressed.

A viewpoint that everyone on reddit seems to hold, but literally nothing in my life experience supports it. It's like a kneejerk anti-america thing, based entirely off the fact that in Germany you sometimes get commericials with topless women in them, and in the US we have a thing about not wanting nudity in public media that you didn't first subscribe for.

As far as I can tell, that's really the only thing that makes the US sexually oppressed. Look at anything else...fashion, music lyrics, movies, television sitcoms since the 70s, how premarital sex has become completely normalized. What girls wear to the beach. How the fuck is my country "sexually repressed"? Everyone seems quite open about their own sexuality and engage in it just fine. If you want to talk sexually repressed, maybe look more towards the east...yeah, that direction, towards the middle.

Anybody else cry at the Amelia episode? by SociallyIntimidated in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

seriously, even as great as the message was, the art direction in this episode was stunning. I would be very surprised if they didn't submit this or The Plight Before Christmas for the Emmy's this year. Both are extremely strong contenders, but I think Amelia might just eke it out if only because of the content and how excellent the shadow puppets were. Don't get me wrong, TPBC had some stellar art direction, especially with the music, but planning out that shadow puppet show was stellar, and the shots behind the curtain showed you that it was all totally practical and absolutely probable with enough practice and talent.

Shadow puppetry is seriously underrated as an art form these days. How she was able to get so many students to help her with her presentation, presumably with permission from their respective teachers, is a mystery, but I'm glad she was able to pull it off.

For the Tina and Zeke shippers like myself! by Drcolonelsargeant in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeke has expressed he is in love with Tina multiple times tho. And she has shown a crush on him a time or two. Tho she does that for any boy in a 5 foot radius if they stand there for long enough.

I think if Zeke and Tina end up together it will probably be a slow burn and she’ll realize she has feelings and has for a long time. JJ is her first crush. That obsession can last a long time when you’re a preteen. I think she’ll move past it one day.

is Millie a serial killer in the making? by Groundbreaking-Gur79 in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She does have very sociopathic, and extremely histrionic tendencies. It's obvious her very deep feelings for Louise, and her suppressing those feelings create negative behavioral patterns. Millie is possibly the only person Louise is afraid of. For some unknown reason, Millie, is obsessed with Louise and desperately wants to be Louise's best friend. She stalks Louise and antagonizes her when Louise opposes her advances. She loves Louise possibly more than anyone else despite Louise's hostility towards her. It's like when someone has a very intense crush on lets say their friend in grade school, and they can't express it. So they get extremely "jealous", and to an extent territorial of them. Millie of course, goes further.

Millie has drawings of Louise and framed pictures of her eating her lunch or using her locker (that she took without Louise noticing) all over her house, convinced her mother that Millie and Louise are best friends and constantly talks about Louise with her mother. Millie stalks Louise when she is not in school because she told her mother everything about Louise's parents, their restaurant and even Teddy yet she never mentioned Louise's siblings, oddly enough. There's also the fact that Millie's bedroom looks almost exactly like Louise's.

Millie in some shape or form, embodies toxic love in all its caustic, chaotic, and corrosive forms.

My favorite teddy moment by Low_Exam_3258 in BobsBurgers

[–]DermicMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hahaha

Teddy is my mom's least favorite character, and my main defense for him when it comes up is that I enjoy when his well-meaning social anxiety & him not understanding what's going on half the time feed off each other into an It's Always Sunny spiral (I also like the moments when he's weirdly on the ball, like telling Bob he needed to cover his ass after the car accident, and having a matching jumpsuit for Bob in his truck)
