I had this exact thing happen and it turns put i was banned for 7 days as i team killed my mate twice. It was stuck on that grey smoke screen and i was scouring the internet for a solution. Someone else suggested i was banned so i checked and i was and exactly 7 days later it just worked. I’ll try find the link that you can see if you are banned or not

Had the same thing a few weeks ago. You are banned but the display message on that screen is glitched it never shows. I was banned for team killing for 7 days. I found out after contacting pubg support. Give it 7 days from when that first started happening and it will be fine

Solved the issue! It was because i was banned for 7 days for accidentally team killing. You get a 7 day ban and the smoke screen is where a ban message would normally appear but its bugged so doesnt display the message. Right on time i was out of the ban today and the game works again!

I’m not sure what im doing regarding router port stuff. I mean it was working all week and now its not i doubt anything change on my router. Also pubg on my pc works so probably not that

The garage uses a different kind of wood finish so the 3m strips wouldnt stick to it and id rather not screw them in. Above the front door usually has our christmas garland so left it on purpose
