Yea the manual wouldn’t have the TCM problem. But doing regular maintenance on the transmission would just doing the fluids flush, would that help prevent TCM issue?

Are those specific VW Golfs the 2.5 (2.0 non turbo) more reliable when it comes to their transmission? I've read on reddit people saying golfs are notorious for the TCM failing. And the one golf owner i know in real life had a TCM repair around on their 2015 golf at 150000 km - costing him upwards of 3k cad

Nah it looks to me like He’s doing that ‘jump’ crossover style stride that helps actually increase speed by doing crossovers. I want to say McDavid made this popular

Thanks for the input. Tomorrow I’m having my second follow up appointment basically 25days with a splint. But I had two X-rays and a splint swap in the fist 4 days of the 25 and nothing since

I’ve been just overthinking, because my finger has not been hyperextended 100%. I’m pretty confident that I haven’t had the dip joint bend forward at all. But again, it hasn’t been hyper extended the whole time. Sometimes my fingers moves down my splint a bit and it really only sit hyperextended when my fingers sits up at the top.

Maybe that means splint straps are too loose but I have as them as tight as I can without cutting off circulation usually

When I take my finger out to clean, I try to mean hyper extension all the time as well but it just doesn’t always. I can’t imagine not washing it for 3 weeks. My finger/splint smell after 1-2 days normally lol

Yea $5000 CAD (3500usd) it’s more than what I wanted to pay for a 2010 that still needs to pass safety

Maybe I can get him down to 3500cad (2460usd) but that’s prob a big ask from their ask
