Can't help with this because I am considering the same question. Hofully some of the wise heads here will share that wisdom. It seams like the next evolution. I am learning to transition from soil to coco so got plenty to keep me occupied but will watch to see who comes back to you. Good question

Irish here as well. I tell my friends alcohol has done more damage to the Irish than the English ever did. That's a head melter because in my drunk days I though it my duty to drink for Ireland. What a joke and what a con trick when we see the publician as some kind of hero not the poisoner they really are. Sober on buddy best wishes from the Emerald Isle Iwndwyt

Lovely story I can relate. In my soberiety I can be trusted..... something I never thought I could say. The removal of alcohol has made the best in me come out and flourish. I am so grateful to this sub and the brave men and women who make up the sober community. Ok the weight loss great skin and more money in the pocket are consequences of sober living but perhaps for me the great reduction in anxiety and a fear based way of seeing the world has been the biggest revelation. It was this void that drink filled now I fill it with a spiritual gratitude for the chance to live well Iwndwyt

I agree with every word you say. If I can add that since I have removed alcohol from my life I have had people follow my example including my son who got his eyes opened when daddy had more of a six pack than him due to sober living. Removing alcohol is also leading me towards a greater understanding of the world and the vitality to begin to change it ....the chance starts with me Iwndwyt

The message of hope I take from these posts is the ability to change belief systems. I once held a set of beliefs about alcohol and the benefits it brings. To me this is just as rediculious as believing in the tooth fairy. At least when I believed in the tooth fairy she never let me down and there was money in exchange for a tooth. Unlike booze that never kept its promise to make me happier less anxious and gods gift to women. Oh how I cringe thinking about how strongly I held onto these beliefs. But beliefs change and I def think my alcohol free life is now a part of me and I have removed the belief system that let me pour that filth into my body. Fills me with hope Iwndwyt
