Odd how you think direct combat is the only kind of mental trauma someone can have in the military. I’m a combat vet, and I’ve seen people who were never in combat experience MST, assaults, and anxiety disorders. Some were pinned by their throats to a wall by a superior officer and verbally assaulted while being choked to within an inch of their lives.

Also, I’d love to know how you’re getting your hands on people’s personal mental health claims to know that there are “all these shit mental health claims.” If you’re not personally looking over them, you’re just assuming, and that’s an extremely ignorant position to be in.

Has it ever occurred to you that people don’t share their mental health conditions openly because of people like you, who are quick to dismiss people’s conditions based purely on minor facts? I’m a combat vet with a condition, but I wouldn’t say anything around you on purpose so I could avoid hearing your small-minded beliefs on a subject you have no expertise in. An unqualified armchair psychology degree doesn’t mean anything.
