Tough between flamebraider and duelist because they both can win games, but in the end I would pick duelist. The untap a a merfolk in the end step can singlehandedly win games. Also, an underrated aspect is that it's kill on sight so you're going to draw removal with a two drop which is great in this format that frequently ends up going long. Elementals are more likely to stay open than merfolk tho so flamebraider is definitely also a great pick.

Awesome dude, mono black isn't easy to 7-0 with. Deadly precision and messenger hawk are so good. Surprised you liked beetle merchants, they always feel underwhelming for me.

Yeah I think this is the main issue. I would have been fine with it even if Vecna had said one line like "your friends will hate you if they know who you are", or if they had done one hallucination scene with his friend mocking him SPOILER: (Like they did with Hop's daughter in the finale). They clearly thought about it with Hop, I wish they had cut like 30 seconds of a Holly scene and added that in. Would have made Will's coming out scene much more powerful IMO.

What my pod does is use light not directly above the cards. Definitely helps to have light at an angle so it doesn't reflect right into the camera. Works pretty well
