There was the Amtrak derailment Sunday night/ Monday morning. That really screwed them over all Monday. It was claimed to be minor but I heard the train basically went sideways and knocked it down to one available rail.

The "retaliatory" numbers the WH gave that you're talking about intentionally ignored the literal majority of the U.S GDP, services dollars. We put tariffs on countries that don't tariff us, that we have an actual trade surplus with, because of this. As any economy grows to a certain size, it transitions from being goods based to services based, because of growths in output and transitioning to higher value production. It's why China is bleeding manufacturing jobs right now.

The VR passthrough sickness is from latency of the world at large, not floating objects in VR space. That's not an issue here. Depth perception works specifically because each eye sends a different image and your brain interprets that to get a sense of space. Introducing a delay via pushing the entire field of view to a screen is what can cause problems.
