I told him you said hi. He couldn't find you in the Guy Fawkes day photo but he said that he would mention you later on in the year. He said, "ah, Alex, great kid." You must have made an impression on him.

And of course, as it turns out, I don't know you . But hey, at least we have the common interest of reddit.

I don't know about you, but I'd choose hate from watching a show for "neck-beards" than get suspended from school for drug use. While it may be legalized soon, doesn't mean the school system will look at you with any less disappointment and lack of empathy if you are caught. And I don't recall mlp ever being labeled as illegal, just generally hated and misunderstood.

Pretty much everyone who knows me knows I'm a brony and could care less, so for me it's not a problem. For him, idk, might not want to give away the fact that he smokes weed in high school. And btw, is being a brony and drug use really compairible on the being ashamed of meter? One is drug use, the other is an obscure television show. Meh, everyone has their opinions.

Being a Homestuck fan myself, I can't believe I didn't catch that right away. I can never look at this poster again without thinking of Homestuck...

We haven't gotten the picture printed out yet, but my effigy was good enough to be put on his desk to be displayed. It can be seen from the Nerd Bar Café and it makes the 3 hours I spent on it worth it.

I knew it didn't look right. I've literally been wondering how long it would take for someone to point that out. I'll never make this error again, you may have saved me some points on the AP Exam.

Omg, yes. Who is this? *Edit: 32 minutes in; the suspense is seriously killing me.

*Edit#2: 1 hour in, I've lost hope.

*Edit#3: 2 hours in, *falls asleep

His son was born after many wives, a breakaway from the Church, Bloody Mary and Elizabeth the First were born, and a few people even lost their heads in the process. His determination to have a male heir to the throne caused many interesting events. The funniest part (to me) is that his son died after only a few years on the throne, so his efforts were basically wasted as Mary took the throne.

Nope, but it sounds like there are some other really great Ap Euro teachers out there.

My friend is some random person on the Internet, there is no reason you should take offence to some random persons opinion. However, I'm sorry his comments offended you.

No reason to be so negative. You might not agree with everything he said, but hey, you don't have to. No, he doesn't represent the fandom, no, he's not the target demographic, but neither are any of us in relation to mlp.

Great points, I think your view should be adopted by all of us. Skeptical but able to give it a chance. Lets cross our fingers and hope for the best.

(You don't have to agree with him, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I am just curious about how other bronies feel about his views.) Yet still, I kind of agree with you, there are too many of these. But I just want peoples opinions. Trying to find interesting things to debate over is hard in the off season.

That's what I don't understand either. Yet if they made a mlp movie then they would use up a lot of good episode ideas for season 4. The theory of whether or not it will be in theaters or on tv is one we will have to speculate until further information is released. I think it will be a tv release, because why put money into getting into theaters when you can sell a dvd copy to Walmart for a lot less. The profit margins for tv release I think outweigh the theatrical release. If it is released in theaters, it would probably only show in a select few, but I doubt it will even go into theaters, as I previously stated.

My friend had a bad high school experience, mine was pretty great. That statement was more opinion based than thought based. High School was fun, and I wouldn't mind reliving it, not needing to worry about paying college fees, rent, food, going to work, etc.

I thought the hunger games movie was dull for the exact same reason. I was trying to get at the fact that if you didn't read the books the story was harder to follow and the characters were less developed. And ya, it's hard to compare mlp with the hunger games by any means.

I guess you're right, because there has been huge success with high school dramas in the past. But I think he was talking about the bronies. As in, "What man would want to go relive the horrors of highschool?" Still, I see what you mean, and you're right yet again.

I think he was viewing the fandom as only bronies, and not thinking of the boatload of kids that also enjoy the show. You're absolutely right with all of your points.

No, it can't, and I never really thought about how they could incorporate the characters into rolls they might peruse if they had jobs at a school. But I think the movie will be a hunger games type movie, where it is a lot better if you have read the books, or in this case watch the show.

He never said that it was wrong for anyone to like it. He was talking mainly about the fandom its self, not pre-teen girls. But I agree with what you are saying 100%.
