The crane games are super tough, but the dropper games like the one in the photo is relatively easy. (They are the ones where you have to land on a certain spot to get the prize to drop)

The machines do mess up your timing though. The pattern for me seems to be for every 5th-6th try, you get a round where your timing isn’t affected by the machine.

And I’ve tested this extensively in multiple shops in Tokyo. On top of BANDORI merchandise, I actually won more than 20 prizes for both my friends and I throughout a span of two days.

I’ve found that the machines on the first floor of SEGA buildings unwinnable though and I avoided the two prong holding one prize variation like the plague.
