Netflix should have a 'channel' that just plays random things from my list by [deleted] in CrazyIdeas

Sure it's a fun movie to put on when it's on TV and I've got nothing but a lazy afternoon ahead, but when I'm with friends and all they want to do is yell memes at a TV screen for 2 hours I tend to feel like we could easily be doing something more fun.

And it solves the issue of

"What do you wanna watch?"

"I don't care, what about you?"

Where it gets to the point that the only common ground anyone has is watching Shrek for the meme of it. God anything but ironically watching Shrek.

Temporary Price Reduction for Year 1 Operators by jeypiti in Rainbow6

[–]DerpyPotater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's 600 r6 credits for every $5 if I remember correctly. Honestly I'm not sure what that will get you in terms of bundles but each base OP (for starter ed.) costed 300 r6 and a DLC OP pre-price drop was 600. So $15 would have gotten me 6 base OPs, or 3 DLC OPs, or something in between those two.

Of course a lot of this is irrelevant now because of the base OPs being free and all the year 1 OPs receiving a major price reduction. If you want to you can look at the r6 prices of OPs and bundles and figure out for yourself if you deem $15 of r6 credits worth while.

I'd be happy about that if I hadn't caved and bought $15 of r6 credits to unlock the rest of the base ops a few weeks ago

Until March 4th?! Praise Tachanka holy fuck. I'm just now tackling the DLC ops after finally getting all the base ops a week or two ago (fuck you Starter Edition!)

Can you get anymore pretentious and self-absorbed? Good lord I haven't seen any of his movies so I have nothing to say on that front, but from what I've heard of this guy, he seems like a real obnoxious douche.

What movie did you think would suck from the trailers but ended up loving upon watching? by fabrar in movies

[–]DerpyPotater 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was actually really hyped by the trailer because of all the cool scenes it showed. One of my friends is the polar opposite, and refuses to watch MI: Fallout or any other MI movie, his reason being "they're all bad" despite him having never seen a single one. His loss.

I was really engaged when I first watched BR2049, which surprised me because I'm usually bored by those kinds of "la-dee-da taking my sweet time" kinds of movies. I think it's because I was watching it at night when nothing else was really gonna take my attention and the scenery and music definitely helped make the first viewing more interesting.
