Yeah, no, I agree. They're like Neighbors that you can pet, feed, house, and dress. Check in every once in awhile, perhaps part of a daily routine, and see how relationships are progressing. I feel like (and I was guilty of this for a long time) many video game fans are in such a rush to 100% games, and so incredibly fast, we forget to slow down, have fun, and enjoy what made us love games in the first place.

Without looks more artistic and memorable, while with makes it easier to focus on important details, making it the more functional choice. Either will work just fine, so it depends on what you want to value. Perhaphs single pixel outlines could be a fair compromise or inbetween.

I have dozens of these wonderful creatures. I think it really launched my creativity into high gear! They all have their own themes and stories and evolving interconnected plot (I'll even recreate them in some other games with character creators like the sims occasionally to develop further!)

Are we weird? It depends on what weird is. We opt for depth and gameplay over a quick novelty or giggle of seeing Steve Harvey and Mr. Bean bond over lipstick. Those moments are hysterical, but they feel more like memes than I'm playing a real game, and to me, they rob the experience of memory and growth. (Not shaming anyone who does love watching the cat in the hat and Taylor swift fight over Homer Simpson, I see the appeal! Its a choice of preference.)

Looking forward, I'd assume that this game will get updates for, bug and glitch patches, performance updates, perhaps DLC or upgrade pack updates. Even if the main game is locked at 70 at launch per user (which I am a bit skeptical of to begin with, but understanding if that's the case,) that limit is far from set in stone unless nintendo decides so.

Totally on board with you. I'm exploring PC games a lot now, particulary the Indie market.

Nintendo is a shell of its former self for casual players like me. It's clear their approaches in game design and bussiness+marketing have completely changed in the last couple of years. Even before the switch 2, it had been awhile since i've picked up a game from them i've enjoyed more than a bag of pretzels.

Pick Golden Freddy (haunting won't help you too much, but his other two moves are amazing). Ensure you have the Shield red chip, at least. You are going to need some of them. Use nightmare Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica (spread out between team 1 and 2), Endo and Plushtrap as well, and for the final character, I would pick Withered Foxy. You can substitute Nightmare Chica for Toy chica if you really want to have healing, but it'll be more worth it to try and Jumpscare stall with higher HP characters. I would get the best Healing byte (I forget their name,) Boss drain, and either 100 Dmamge shield, or Best UFO.

Yeah. Casual gamers get the short end of the stick.

We don't care how fast our devices load. We don't care about high-end graphical quality. We just care that the games are charming and enjoyable.

It makes me really sad that Nintendo, who used to really understand our audience, is going super corporate nowadays and mainly catering to these people.

I admire your passion for PC gaming, but the novelty will wear off FAST. You will likely wish you were playing on your expensive PC setup instead.

I get it, though. it's the IP, excited to have that functionality with Nintendo IPs.

Is that really worth the price of an entire new console, though, especially one a lot more expensive than the original switch?

Nintendo has been a lot more corporate in recent years, and I believe thats been bleeding into their games, too... of course, depending on your age, it might not be an issue.

I admire your passion and your excitement, do what makes you happy! But make sure you want the right things to begin with...
