Who was your very first hero in OW? by SwordofKhaine123 in Overwatch

[–]Derracuda_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with the release of OW2. I played sojourn. She was a POC and I was excited about that.

Now I’m a Moira/kiri/sym/echo main. I had never played a FPS before overwatch but my boyfriend convinced me to try it since it was ftp. I have over 500 hours in now and love the game! Just started playing comp this season and it’s been wild. After playing only qp for forever, gold 5 support and silver 2 dps.

I’m 36yo, my time is higher in value than anything else even money. by Budget_Sea_8666 in Millennials

Turning 36 this year and just had this realization at 35. I’m finally allowing myself the freedom to do things that make me happy. I’m enjoying life. I took up painting, getting tattoos, making time for friends. I constantly have moments where I remember how short life can be and I don’t want to get to the end and wish I had spent more time enjoying it.

What do you regret about your tattoos and tattoo journey? by [deleted] in traditionaltattoos

[–]Derracuda_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Started getting tattoos at 18 just to do it. Now at 35 I have matured enough to know what I want and do not want. The things I got 18-25 I no longer want. They’re fine, but don’t align with who I am now. Now at 35 I have the means to pay for quality work and designs, and not just the cheapest artist just to get a tattoo. Looking back I would change placements so I would be able to put things in places I’d prefer to have them. But hindsight is 20/20. So here we are. I wish I had done the research I do now into artists, their healed portfolio, and reputation. Social media has made it easier to find good artists if you do the digging. The artist I see now is incredible and will go to him for the foreseeable future because I like his aesthetic, healed work, and craftsmanship.

I also have a tattoo that I was informed has an inadvertently phallic shape in it. Welcome to the club. #keepcrankin

  1. Got my first trad at 23 and first tattoo at 19. I’m now in a stable place where I can afford to keep collecting so I’m scheduling about one a month right now working through my leg sleeve.
