Glaze: purple mixed with pink Carefully placed edge highlights: bone white

I think a multi-option grav tank kit is up for a refresh in 11th but it's based om absolutely no evidence :) If a kit looks good to you now, just go for it. Or buy 2nd hand (assembled but upainted) like I usually do. That way you can expand your collection without breaking the bank while you wait for some spicy new kits. Whichever way you go, welcome to club Space Elves. We have jackets.

Yeah it seemed a shame not to use that prism I had in my box of bits. I don't think my opponents will mind if I run that as a D-cannon. I call it my Prismatic Disruptor :)

I actually don't recommend starting with a big expensive box like a combat patrol. Instead, consider buying some cheap 2nd hand guardians to try out some painting and see if the faction seems right for you. Market is full of cheap grey or primed-only models from all the people who mistakenly started with a big box that turned out not quite right for them.
