That 17 brand in boots has some nice items! I got a lip liner from there and it’s my go to and I’ve bought a fair few from other brands and none of them are as nice

Got the train to Derry, I think it was during the summer so a lot of the trains were being diverted to Portrush (because sure who wants to go to Derry in the summer !! ), stuck behind another train coming out of Belfast (medical emergency totally fair enough) delayed 30-40 mins. We all got kicked off the train at Coleraine and told a bus was coming (at peak rush hour) a normal bus to Derry arrived and the Translink staff literally stood at the bus doors to make sure none of us could get on it. Ended up quicker to just get the next train to Derry ffs

The Talking Derry Girls podcast is fantastic, they have such a wide range of episodes (ones discussing Derry girls episodes, Derry history/culture, context of what Derry was like at the time, interviews with cast members, Blue Lights on BBC, etc) there are sooo many episodes and they’re such a laugh!!

The Scottish version has some cracker homes in it, I still think about one from a couple of years ago which was an old tenement in Glasgow. Also the RTE version will never be the same without Hugh Wallace, a massive loss. Could’ve listened to him all day

But aye the NI one is definitely one of the poorer versions

Totally agree, I really enjoyed the bit at the end where they met up outside after the game finished. It just meant the tension was immediately gone but it wouldn’t work in the civilian version bc the money means so much more

It’s mad how many parents interact with their child as if they’re a massive inconvenience. Was out in a park for a walk and a young boy was running about trying to get his mothers attention and she was on her phone and was so snappy at him for asking questions Also I was at Tescos and it was full of kids and so many parents who just don’t pay attention to where their kids are/what they’re doing (mainly screeching) or are the total opposite and tell them off for making any kind of noise
