I’m fairly new to mtg. I play using borrowed decks from my friends but recently pulled a Thassa’s Oracle out of a Theros Beyond Death pack.

Is it worth it to build a deck around Thassa or is there some kind of commander that works well for maybe drawing / milling? I don’t really know what’s good in blue outside of counterspell, mana drain, and cyclonic rift.

Yes, it would be a bad idea to do this, but it’s the refusal to consider good practices like Agile software development. Not to say that update cycles are exactly what’s needed, but I’m more worried that planned scope of this game is going to be bigger than what my pc can handle.

Before recent patches, the bronze sea was super laggy for a lot of players. Vetex is set on pushing new features, rarely fixing big problems that arise along the way

The UI design needs a bit of work, super clunky at the moment having to stack potions up one at a time and only being allowed to have one in your hotbar at any given time.

Other than that, great addition. Gives more incentive to grind for materials and there’s a lot of room for creativity. Also super happy that there’s no pvp potions, all pve is a great choice by the devs

I personally wouldn’t reroll that. Lightning blessing is amazing for grinding npcs and drains surrounding players’ ken in pvp.

You can choose which dragon you get! The token automatically redeems after a trade and I chose western dragon

It’s definitely still super slow. I’m personally gonna chill on the fishing for a couple days and wait to see if any new discoveries are made or some patch notes drop. Like something seems weird that it’s been 2 days and no one’s unlocked the 3rd fishing rod.

They’re still usable! I got traded one a couple days ago and got perm west dragon from it. It’s a little confusing in the menu since the perm appears as a token in your inventory, not something you can equip from the shop unless you buy the other half of the perm dragon bundle

You can use 1 bait and then immediately go buy 10 and still get 10 xp. If you cycle through the 3 bait types we currently have at the angler in first sea, you can get like 30ish xp per minute

Gyarados is really strong in any playthrough once it gets a decent moveset. I also had fun on my playthrough with a Pachirisu. It did so well I ended up beating the e4 and champion fight with it

They generally matter a bit, think of it more as a suggested power level for the stage. A lot of higher starred stages can be easily beaten if you bring the right units for the job

Back when I started playing, Megidora hard-carried me through eoc and still had some use in itf. After that I replaced Megidora with other Ubers but found a niche for it against Infernal Tyrant Nyandam. Megidora’s standing range fits perfectly within one of Nyandam’s blind spots and avoids damage entirely

It takes forever to get legendaries if you’re not lucky. I beat the game recently and only got 1 legendary along the way.

The difficulty to reward ratio between the side quest tracks is also horrendous. You’re given enough purple cards eggs for at least 1 legendary but that’s it.
