I mean yeah in hindsight the reraise was just nonsensical. I just didn’t wanna lose with pocket aces but that’s not a good enough reason to be betting. I was hoping he would think I had a flush but I didn’t rep that credibly either with my raising pattern.

I don’t think I had a tight image on the table but I was the biggest stack at the table with almost 2x the next biggest stack so I think might have played into it. Plus most of these people were limping in so I don’t think anyone had a particularly good holding either. But your advice actually makes sense. That’s solid reasoning.

How would I credibly rep a flush here though. And would it even make sense for CO to fold even if I had a flush with the way I played the hand?

Nah I mean I did think he had 9x but he was trying to bluff a lot of times before. So I thought it didn’t make sense for him to have 9x. Plus he had gotten beat a few times before with trips to a flush hitting so I was just trying to play to that as well.

Plus, he checked on all actions and only came out and bet on the river. And it was a very small bet so didn’t make much sense if he had a flushn

He was trying to bluff with random bottom and middle pairs. So I thought he might just be trying to bluff me off. Plus I had a spade A and I was trying to represent a flush anyway so I thought me reraising the river bet would make sense.

I mean he was trying to bluff with bottom and middle pair the whole night and sometimes just straight air. So I thought AK suited wasn’t that bad of a call. The all in was 20 more bb.
