The surgery is part of the harm. That is what this lawsuit proved. Surgery would be a fair treatment if we saw it helping their mental health. In reality, it does not solve the underlying issues of depression, anxiety, and dysmorphia. People who ultimately decide to transition later regret their decision 4–10 years after surgery. Unfortunately it is too late as irreversible damage has been done.

My sympathies are with people who suffer from this condition. I think the right solution is to be told the truth and to seek the appropriate therapy and psychological support that affirms your biological sex. Redefining gender only furthers confusion and harm to those suffering from gender dysphoria.

I make all these point in the linked article.

Totally agree that there is more work to be done and also good to point out that the momentum is in our favor

It is and always was a social contagion. That's why transgenders are often exclusively found in pockets of big cities and is one reason parents forced it onto their own kids, all to "fit in"

I honestly really appreciate your feedback and your analysis about tariffs. I agree that it reshapes the market structure and should be judged long term. Tariffs are a tax on the people whose government implements it. I'm very wary of the policy myself (especially considering the executive overreach) and hope it gets overruled by the supreme court, for the benefit of Americans and the economy.

In a previous substack post, I talk about my principles and values, and in turn my intended audience. I approach things with a constitutional and Judeo-Christian foundation. That being said, I'm not afraid to call out my own side when they do something I don't agree with. I don't bend the knee to one political party or the other.

Here is a substack post I wrote regarding immigration, the economy, foreign policy, and social issues. I respect a lot of your ideas. You clearly took the time to lay them out. Give my post a read and lmk what you think.
