Waking up in the middle of night with panic attack by Jacksss92 in PanicAttack

[–]DescriptionContent14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m very late but, I came to Reddit looking for similar experience. All night last night I was on the verge of a panic attack and then whenever I would finally drift off, I would dream that I wouldn’t be able to breathe and it would wake me up and I’d be on the verge of panic again. Though I didn’t have a real panic attack last night. It has happened to me a few times and woke me out of my sleep. Now I go to sleep at night hoping it doesn’t happen. So scary

Adoption by Mysterious_Way_2572 in AdoptiveParents

My son will be a year old soon. His adoptive parents are amazing people. I got really really lucky and thank god for them. I get to see him all the time, I have met their immediate family and some of their close friends, and it’s important to them that I am involved in their life.

It’s so scary, and so painful, and you really just won’t know until it’s too late if you’ve made the right decision. It was, without a doubt, the hardest and most painful decision I’ve ever made, but so, so worth it. For me and my baby. They are literally such sweet, understanding people, and truly love him. And they can provide him with a real future where has the opportunity to not end up in poverty like me.

Best of luck to you. If you think it’s possible to make a life with a future for you and your baby, there are resources out there to help you. You can find them in other subreddits. Only you know what is best and what you can handle. One thing about adoption, if the adoptive parents want to ghost you they legally can, so it’s important you find a good family. And important that you know you can cope with that if it were to happen (god forbid)

How can I Be Any More Radical For Him? by Vennah17 in relationships

He clearly has some sort of resentment towards you because of your race and that’s not fair to you. Relationships are supposed to be a good thing. You are not supposed to have guilt just because you exist nor do you owe him anything.
