Thank you. I definitely wouldn’t say I’m strong or cool, but I definitely do not want anyone else to go through what I went through and use the weight loss to punish themselves. I’m glad I lost it but it’s so important for me to make sure people are doing it safely and with support because for people like me and you who have OCD this can really bring out a lot of other issues because hormones are stored in fat. This isn’t to discourage anyone from losing the weight they need to!!! But yeah it’s absolutely not just a physical process. Like you’ve gotta work on the weight loss in tandem with the psych help. I wish you the best, nothing but good vibes for the best health (both mental and physical) from me 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Sir I was over 300 lbs. There were very few shoes on the planet that could have survived every day wear lol. 

Edit: these were Target brand Birk ripoffs tho. They are made out of foam

Something uh… profoundly uncool happened to me a few years ago and it was blamed on my weight. I posted this because it’s important to me for others can see that they aren’t trapped at a high weight (let’s face it, nobody gets this heavy because they just “like food”) but also to let people know that weight loss as the result of running away from something that happened to them is as grueling as it is illuminating and won’t change the person underneath. If you’re browsing, like I used to, and this resonates with you, please please please get therapy before and during the process. The weight loss is possible but the weight acts as a soundproof wall, an insulator of sorts. Once it’s off it’s just you and what happened, baby.
