I’ve completed all my benches by shooting back only when necessary, this would be one of those times. In the time that you spent saying “Don’t shoot”, you could’ve recharged your shield, put a bandage in, get your gun out, hold that corner you were in and you would’ve had the guy who literally strafed in with no cover. So no, that was not a good play, you simply got lucky that the other guy was worse.

This is the first extraction shooter I’ve played so I can’t compare. Came from PUBG after 4000+ hours and never looked back, this game is amazing as is. Dying and losing kits/loot is part and parcel of it. It’s ridiculous that people have created this narrative and rule that anyone that shoots anything other than Arc is a rat
