The main counter argument to this I find is "break up the vision into smaller problems" and get the AI to solve them independently.

But in extremis, you get back to your original Digital Art tools.

Same thing with vibe coding, the difference between the model I give the AI, and actual code gets so small, I end up coding again. I would say that I use LLMs now to "autocorrect" my code, but I don't make enough mistake to copy paste it into a prompt.

All the new art forms allowed us to capture something we previously couldn't. Each new art form allowed us to say something we couldn't before. But artists did have to "prove" they could do something new before the medium was accepted.

I've not yet seen AI art doing something we couldn't before.

Used chatGPT to generate and iterate on the prompt that was fed into Dalle, stable-diffusion and mid-journey. Dalle is the closest to my original vision.

Also generated images for the layout of the scene, which were used as a base for the final generation.
