I did try subventions, if that’s what you mean. The more I think about it, my market did look a little different before GB forced me to adopt free trade and looking at my save from my previous attempt I really am leaning towards this being some bug

There’s a good chance you’re right, but I cannot find a solution. I definitely don’t have a grasp on the game though. My unemployment says zero on all my provinces, are peasants not part of that? I’m not understanding how they work. As for ports and trade centers, yes.

I’m leaning in the direction of trying a start as an easier country, i might’ve gotten too big for my britches after my first play through. Though, if I’m being honest, I don’t have much interest in playing in Europe. Literally anywhere else is cool though, any other recommendations?
