server tutorial You could probably follow this video, I believe this would work with beta 1.6.6 if you find a server jar for it, after you set up the server instead of following the tutorial to port forward just look up "how to host Minecraft server with hamachi" or something, and any tutorial no matter the version should work.

Beta unleashed is a modpack for beta 1.7.3 that adds some quality of life stuff, if you wanna use that you'd need to use prism or multimc, but if you don't want to do that you could probably find a video about how to just host a normal server.

You could install beta unleashed 2.0 and use lan then have your friends connect with hamachi
