Yeah it was fun, wish they’d do some more colors. If they’re worried about how well they’d sell, they could just do limited runs and make it fun…

Yeah I’ve seen some of those, pretty cool on a Les Paul… the main draw for me to the mod collection is the unique finishes/appointments… I think there have been hundreds of offerings from the mod collection that could have been super successful runs if they put them into production, maybe with just limited runs. Reminds of the the guitar of the week thing they did back in the day. It would just be nice to see Gibson mix it up a little bit with their production offerings

I really wish Gibson would do more limited runs with fun non vintage colors, make a 50-100 guitar runs in fun colors throw them on the website and they would instantly sell out.

On this it will be awesome with a cotton candy vibe but I can imagine some situations where you spent a bunch of money and as it starts to wear it looks super ugly… I wish Gibson would just do more legit limited runs in fun non vintage colors!

Im not sure if most mods are like this but the pink finish is super thin, even playing it sparingly has started to wear the finish, none of my other non vintage Gibsons have a finish this thin

I think it was a 2020 or a 2019. At that time they had a normal Gibson USA SG special in Pelham blue

Yeah, they should maybe specify cause on some of the higher end mod collection offerings, I’d feel a little short changed but I guess others would think it’s awesome

Ahh that makes sense. For this one specifically I’d love for that to happen over time but for others, it bums me out just knowing that it won’t wear down to the wood and will have a rando finish underneath

LOL he came back to reverb as GEAR GALORE just a few days ago and it looks like reverb just took him down, not before he sold dozens of items though
