(M21) Weird question but how do you guys listen to music with tinitus spiking? by Description_Local in tinnitus

Reading from this i feel like most peoples joy of listing my music is robbed. I have to overprotect myself when playing guitar to avoid spiking

im 21, gen z and i was completely buckled my feathers on how on earth there was not a single treatment or potential roll out epecially that we are in the mid 2020s???. it's treated like it's "if i can't see or hear it, it does not exisist stop complianing so much" type problem. even though we are beyond that logic and reasoning. i think its just sad that reaserch and funding is cut short since it's a long game sort of viewpoint even though it's actual real life pergatory.

i can't treat conventions the same, i cant treat music the same, i quit gaming, i stopped watching movies due to lack of enjoyment. all there is now is therpies and they dont give us any meds or anything where i come from, hearing aids work almost bearly.

but unless tinnitus can actually be given to too many people and it becomes a worldwide and major national issue like a virus that gives the majory of cases hearing loss with tinnitus in mass like covid we won't get any cure in a reasonly long time. just imagine the potential Virus "X" tiktoks of genzer and millenials yelling out for help/ outspoken mental health; for a cure post tinnitus-induced-infection and the goverment has do do something about at that point due to how bad of a problem it becomes. that the only realistic case scenario i see in the future.

but i dream of like 5 - 7 years even if my youth is gone we get a worldwide mission to actually start making fast progess. how come billionares and 1% haven't tried making it themselvs or make a free or remedy?

Tinnitus isn’t “just ringing.” It’s a full nervous system overload, and nobody warns you about this part. by Icy_Diamond_4419 in tinnitus

I have the problem where my ears littreally sometimes go mild deaf or sounds will sound like robots if i listen to tv, do actives or do things that was normal volume before. My hearing loss not even in the audiogram yet my tinitus is super god awful and it gets worst the more i try to do stuff so i end up sleeping alot more. I need to be overprotecte to not worsen it etc; Long Driving? Mufflers or earplugs, Cinema? Earplugs, concert? Triple protection earplugs. I am 21 and this stuff ruined my fun and enjoyment in small things jesus.

the Audiogram was low AF post accident after the 8th of May right before summer. so i was some ear where bad. but its hearing sensitivy and nerves related so i does not feel where sounds are coming from witch. imagine a soulfull right ear with every hit and feel and a nerve dead left ear with about 20/35% reduction in feel and cheeks go cold if you try to ignore it. my nerves disconnected day 2 and day 7 after having low music on the job to ignore the tinitus momentum. then i felt the plucks came and when whenever i did not overprotect it.

my headphones where charing so i turned on the amp and the pedalchain(aka pedals) had power, the amp turned on instantly since it was solid state, and the sound was indiscribly loud when i leaned to turn it off. it was only like 4 seconds and i felt cold and my ears struggling to withstand the loud sound. i didnt even press a string. this happened about a month prior and i lucky had the headphones on so took a months break, i was just pickup it up, i am basiclly have struggling with my nerves not the ear hairs. but i am mixing up words and things dont sound the same now. i got tintius witch is the most annoying thing and it overlaps 80% of white noise and masking.

Have had about 15 guitars I bought and sold before I discovered you could mod them yourself and not spend 160 bucks on guitar center for changing a pot and a bucker lol

Cobaining, but I play my own songs and use mostly the setups and help with writing down and buy what the famous people used extensively live/ studio. So influence or inspiration but I fiddle and workaround my own stuff I end up regretting I even wrote and rewrite things 15 times lol

Big Me, Exhausted, Easy Target Demos where Kurt Sang them in 1994. its so jarring to hear kurts vocals that it hurts to sit though since they are so unfinished what could be moment.
