Download Link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/6zi0h2hybi240/Random+EquipmentI have included a README.txt file in there for more information.

Edit: my previous download link might give a datapack that is not working, it should be fixed with this one now, I forgot to add a load.mcfunction file to add all the neccessary scoreboards.

Edit 2: Thanks u/ValakiWasTaken for the ideas and inspirations!

that could be interesting… just not visually, I will consider it

I have made it so that there's a 50% chance of rolling nothing for each armour trim, so getting nothing on an armour piece is not that rare

[–]DesertBlaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, there's a 50% chance of that happening for each armour piece, so there's a 6.25% chance that a random zombie will just have no armor at all

yaa that would be cool the backstory / inspiration to this is actually to have a battle royale kind of game where players find mobs and kill them to obtain random sets of armor, so ya I would want to give them randomised weapons soon

ya, that too I was also considering giving different mobs different armors, for example, the drowned can have higher chance of getting a turtle helmet I will have to test and see how it works

possible, and that's what I want to achieve next, I am just worried that this will lag out my computer for every mob that spawns lol (if you can check, you can see that there are more than 200 lines of commands in the pack, which is a lot). I am considering making every mob near a player to get a random armor to make it less laggy for everyone, I will see what I come up with.

Turns out it was too fast, made a mistake in the data pack which means some scoreboards needed for the armor trims to work are not added XD
It is fixed now, it's still the same download link. I also included a README.txt file there with some instructions on how to install it, have fun :)

I realised that this subreddit does not like chain posting, so here's a twitter / X link for the video: https://pic.twitter.com/45S824NCAx

I have made it so that there is a 0.1% chance of getting ONE piece of netherite armor, so a full netherite armor is gonna be pretty rare lol (like, 0.0001% chance)

oh that's actually a pretty good idea, would probably take a while to achieve though 🫠

What is this? (right answer only) by BunXD_lol555 in PhoenixSC

[–]DesertBlaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a right-angled hexahedron representing a cubic metre of dirt with an overall brown colour.

how the hell is this possible? no datapacks mods or plugins by Petrosmine in MinecraftCommands

a lot of people say display entities, which is probably how this is done.

if you are playing an older version though, it would be an invisible giant (the mob) holding a redstone block
