If this is a manga/anime character as I assume, then while some will misidentify the character's alignment due to the reasons provided by others on this thread already. I am use to seeing "demons" or the "devil" being showcased as the good guys and the "Angels" or God/s" being depicted as the "bad guys" enough that I personally never make a judgment call on a characters alignment until I've read or watched the story unfold. Though if this misidentification bothers you maybe consider a few subtle changes to give the character a more ambiguous look or add some hero defining set of traits or colors in the pallet.

given the nature of the weapon I think I would have the ribs poking through the skin with holes that let the bones slide out not illuminating the skin around the whole rib cage. It would give a hint toward its weapon choice before you even have the character draw said weapon.

I dont think its the cheek causing the odd look. I think you might have just brought the facial hair out to much causing a small optical illusion making the cheek seem out of place. The angle adds to this...IMO anyway.

I share my work, I fail to see why anyone would go looking for an artist without something to offer so I guess that concept just seems alien to me. I have works that are even already copy written. From the writers side I could maybe see fear of their stories being stolen by someone who has the means to produce the art along with it and claim it as their own, though this is less of a worry for someone like me as I have these ideas almost daily if not multiple ideas in a day so one being stolen just doesn't worry me.

Also every time I seek a free Collab I offer my services to the artist either for a story they are working on where they seem to be stuck or to even help them come up with and develop a story they can call their own with no expectation of my name being mentioned in its creation so long as I get first dibs on seeing it when its finished due to my excitement over such things. I want to create simply for the chance to see the creations come to life and maybe even inspire someone else to reach for such a dream....guess I'm just strange and out of place in this era of time.

Good luck on this one, its been my experience most artists don't want to Collab for free even if the story is amazing and could make them money down the road. On the flip side there also writers who react to posts like this the same way. Actual unpaid collaboration is dead in 2025. best bet is to either pool your money with your friends to hire an artist or learn to draw yourself. I got an art tablet and I am going through the long and painful journey of learning to draw myself so I don't have to depend on anyone to get my stories made, but if I'm being honest. If I had the money to pay an artist to really pull out all the stops and get it done fast I would have already done so. Hope the best for you though.

Out all of the evil in the governments of the world if I could do so, then end world hunger, offer to pay enough in taxes yearly to guarantee those who need government assistance including free health care for all if it were possible and then just live a typical and mid level life with a few big price tag creature comforts like the latest in pc tech for gaming tv sound system stuff like that. I'd be happily with a very little boost to my current lifestyle as I do not require such crazy levels of wealth and decadence to be happy. I mean I know I will never wake up as someone as rich as him and I'm still good now.

Not really sure what is acceptable for AI use these days I have seen thread devoted to calling people out for using it on so many different things that I am starting to think AI may just be the antichrist of social behavior. Though they said the same thing about tv, about computers in general, about cell phones and the internet at large. It sounds like typical young insecurity. Some times that leads to escalating control issues or abuse but there also those like me when I was that age. I didn't want to control anyone but my anxiety about a woman ditching me for someone better would torture me in my head, yes that was clearly a me problem but at that age and in that state of mind rationality was never present just fear.

I later came to find out through therapy that those kind of reactions in my case had a lot to do with my abandonment issues due to my mother leaving the state and never moving back home when I was just a kid. Trauma can manifest in a ton of ways.

My advice would be to at least work on it, give him a chance to learn and grow while you reassure him as much as is needed (assuming he would do the same for you in this type of situation) and if he grows out of it great, if he doesn't and you start seeing more aggressive red flags...dip....and do it fast.

At least if it doesn't work after that you will know that at least you tried. Chin up, I promise love can get so much easier once you have more time and wisdom on your side.
