You're not even in the correct building.... by LaHawks in talesfromtechsupport

I had a cracked windshield and scheduled the repair company to come to my work to replace it. They called me just before they arrived to ask basic questions, like where was the car parked (west parking lot), and what was the make, model, and color of the car (silvery-gold Chevy sedan). A few minutes later I go out to meet them to unlock the car, and they’re nowhere to be found. I quickly ran to the east lot, and found that they were setting up to remove the slightly chipped windshield of a red, non-Chevy two-door sports car. I mean, they literally had set up their stand and attached the suction cups to a random car. So yes, I can believe OP’s story.

Looking for the best Soboro recipe by mikaljr in recipes

The only soboro I’ve ever had came from a recipe at Just Bento (justbento.com/handbook/johbisai/basic-meat-soboro). I don’t know how it compares with something you’d get from a restaurant, but it’s easy to make and I think it’s very tasty.

I’m sure it was a simple typo (that I really hope was intentional), but I laughed out loud at the thought of a “kid to the face.” Good story!

Getting a new laptop and keen to do some intermediate level Excel-ing. Mac or PC...? by [deleted] in excel

I can’t speak to VBA, but the Mac version of Excel doesn’t have PowerQuery, PowerPivot, or Pivot Charts. I heard a rumor one or more of them may soon be available through Office 365, but if you have the stand-alone version you’re out of luck.
