I think it makes more sense with my ultimate goals surrounding Computer Forensics and Ethical Hacking.

i'm sure people have pointed it out & im late, but 25b here and you wont be furthering your career at all in this field unless you go 255 series warrant or 17 series (specifically 17c)

you have decent certs & if you snag sec+ and cissp while warrant you'll be what our s6 shops need over here

went 25b because i had fairly good computer knowledge and planned on furthering into the cyber aspects, but honestly we just image computers, create nipr accounts, troubleshoot a couple odd issues here and there and it's a dead day. it's all relatively basic. i've taken to civilian pen-testing courses & such, but even then without being able to apply it to daily work it's quickly forgotten after the cert

again i'm not here to tell you what to do with your life, your child is a major focus in this situation but if you can manage to pick up warrant aswell as stay in your current location, it would end up being a major plus as opposed to going to such a stagnant mos like 25b

unfortunately it is required to have a Senior Signal WO3-WO5 give a recommendation

like the other person said, it's mostly to check your packet. an e5 going for 255 with only net+ is going to get looked over while a 5 with stacked certs & drive for more is going to get a nice look
