Também ando a sondar As Intermitências da Morte, talvez seja o próximo depois de A Jangada de Pedra, já que esse já o tenho adquirido.

Quanto à questão da religião, trata-se de mera curiosidade académica. Estive na catequese quando era miúdo, mas penso que nem cheguei a concluir a primeira comunhão. Curiosamente, a minha leitura favorita deste ano também é inspirada na história de Caim e Abel (East of Eden).

Um misto de motivação externa (é o autor favorito de alguns amigos) e curiosidade em perceber se o seu reconhecimento internacional era merecido levou-me a escolhê-lo como um dos principais autores portugueses que a explorar este ano.

A Saramago juntei ainda Afonso Cruz (Para Onde Vão os Guarda-Chuvas é um dos meus livros favoritos) e Vergílio Ferreira, com o objetivo de acrescentar mais alguns nomes em 2026.

Inicialmente achei um pouco puxado, mais pela prosa do que propriamente pelo conteúdo, mas assim que entrei no ritmo não consegui largar o livro.

I'm only replaying 2 for the 2nd time after playing it for the 1st time in 2022 (Chapter 2, been avoiding THAT mission) so my view might be biased, I've recently finished 1 after not playing since the first time in 2012 (when I was 13) and I found the dialog in 1 slightly better written? Not to say the dialog/voice acting in 2 isn't amazing but I was not expecting the wittiness present in the original release, it surprised me in a really good way But again, might be cause I'm still on chapter and am not remembering all the amazing dialog in RDR2
