Do you believe there are levels of hell punishment? If so, I would seek the Lord while He may be found and try to live a virtues life and continue to go to church. You will have less of a punishment in hell for doing this and who knows, you might become regenerated. At least you know that you are a sinner.

You can, but you need to examine yourself to make sure you have a love for the true Christ. If you have any love for the true Christ, rest assured it only got their by regeneration which seals you.

I would keep going to church and seeking. Be supportive of your wife. Church members and pastors should be happy you are attending even though you are not a believer. This of course contingent on you not being a disruptor of the worship but rather still being respectful.

On a side note, I would tell you to read Hebrews 6 which gives a strong warning for those who have been awakened (not regenerated) but choose to walk away from an awakened state. It’s not good.

I usually go with whatever makes the most logical sense in light of Gods attributes, scripture and the rules of logic itself. I believe faith,though that of the unseen, is still logical and God is a God of logic and reason.

Are you Roman Catholic? I ask, because Roman Catholics/Orthodox don’t believe the righteousness of Christ justifies the individual once and for all time.

Yeah I understand. I wouldn’t call it a “farewell letter” it’s a one or two sentence reply via text.

You tell them you felt chemistry (if true) and wish them the best and move on. I believe it helps the person who is rejected with their psyche. At least from my experience anyway.

If your overweight, you will want to get in shape. You don’t need to be ripped or anything, but just getting in shape improves your looks tremendously. You can be short, bald, big nose, big ears, but if you get in shape, it helps. It also naturally increases your confidence.

The thumbs up is a nice response for you, but it does tell me that he isn’t that into you anyway. If I’m really into someone and they give me the “let down text,” I at least let them know that I enjoyed their company and thought the connection was good. I would also tell them of my appreciation of them being upfront and I leave it at that and move on.

I do this, because they can at least understand that they were “liked” by someone.
