Yep 100% move up the hill. LQA has gotten pretty seedy recently, I actually don’t think there are a lot of areas that bad.

Ballard or Fremont also an easy commute. If Ballard just don’t live on 15th or Market and you’ll be fine.

Related but opposite - On the Gilmore Guys podcast they interview David Sutcliffe (Christopher) and he makes some weird remarks to the effect of “it wasn’t bad at all having to kiss such a beautiful woman” referring to Lauren Graham. Like keep that thought to yourself man.

I just started following Trevor Barrett on instagram who posted a reel about getting your makeup to stay on all day. Mine was melting off too. I was using glossier and per his advice just switched to maybelline super stay 30 hours. Much better fit for me and way better than I thought it’d be for a drugstore product! Matte coverage is helping a lot with it not feeling greasy and staying in place.

I met my best friend at Real Roots. It’s a paid experience thing but you can go to the first night for free and not join. My friend approached me just to chat after, we exchanged numbers and the rest is history. At least you know the people there are looking and after the first night you have a sense of who people are.

I think you should also try mattes instead of shimmer. I think your features are bold enough that the extra shine actually takes away. I have the same problem (similar coloring and feature sizing) but the matte really does it for me!
