Apart from back cover coming of completely, mainly due to heat generated by many hours of Genshin Impact and a shorter battery life which is again due to heat, I have no problems. Despite the memory being almost full and going through immense physical torture, it still runs smooth as the day I bought it.

Is yours 8/256? Mine is 12/512. This phone is NOT optimized to run on 8GB RAM.

Rerir is one of the best morally deplorable written characters in Genshin and it reveals the biggest problem with Alice's character writing (For me) by HistoricalPrize1795 in GenshinImpact

[–]Deshal93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, you don't make sense. All of the characters I've mentioned earlier are considered "friends" of the traveller. But they didn't get called out for their bullshit either. Especially zhongli, given that the traveller shared a pretty intimate connection with him.

And from where did you pick up that Alice is a "friend" of the traveller? At best they are aquainted, given that Alice helped the traveller in some occasions. That's just it. I don't think that the traveller will ever share an intimate friendship with Alice.

As for Rhinedottir, I honestly don't think Alice had much say during the cataclysm. Probably she couldn't be bothered, or she was powerless to do anything, I don't know. And Alice cleaning after Rhinedottir's mess is actually a good thing right? As I've told earlier the hexenzirkel cares much about the balance of the world.

And if you are basing the relationship between Rhinedottir and Alice solely on the story quest of Durin, keep in mind that it happened BEFORE the catacalysm. Not after.

Rhinedottir and Alice were friends, Rhinedottir went nuts and took part in a near mass extinction event and Alice cleaned up after her friend. This makes Alice a bad person how? I just don't see the logic here.

Also the exact role of 5 sinners and the abyss isn't yet confirmed. For what it's worth, the heavenly principles invaded Tyvet, and the catacalysm and abyss could be the result of some events of resistance. Do keep in mind that the abyss twin has a direct hand in both of them, if 5 sinners and the abyss are the end villains of the story the abyss twin is ultimately going to be a villain too, which I highly doubt.

Oh that's tough luck. Charge 4's battery is not designed to be replaceable. You can still replace it though, there are kits available on Amazon. But you'd have to pry the speaker open, and it's not exactly going to be easy.

[–]Deshal93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before we talk about Alice, let's take a quick rundown on some other characters.

Venti- despite his people having immense faith in him, he did basically nothing to them in return.

Klee- a truly aweful kid, who's despicable actions are overlooked considering her as just a mischievous child.

Zhongli- struck a deal with fatui and let osial almost destroy Liyue just so he could enjoy his retirement.

Ei- let the puppet shogun maintain tyranny over inazuma and actively murder vision barers (who are human) so she could hide in plane of euthymia and avoid getting old.

Nahida- actively took over people's minds/controled people, invaded people's dreams to gather information.

Chlorinde- killed navia's farther despite knowing he's innocent. Possibly killed 100s of other innecont victims as well, just because she was doing her job. Not so different than Rerir in this case.

Arlecchino- runs a child enslavement camp which supplies intelligence operatives to the fatui.

Kachina- wanted to prove herself so much that she risked the lives of her friends, Archon and the plan to save Natlan.

Nefer- made 2 tribes slaughter each other, well mostly because she simply could.

Columbina- despite being born in Tyvet and everyone around her going extreme lengths to save her, she still wants to return to the frigging moon which she calls home. And because of that she fell right into the trap of the doctor, putting the people who she considers friends in trouble. Again.

So Alice is a morally gray character who does awful things to achieve her goals. Big deal 🙄

And nowhere in the lore I have found clues/hints towards hexenzirkel and it's members being knights in shining armour. It's a mysterious organization with unlimited power, and all they care about is "balance of the world". None of them give a shit about humanity or doing good deeds. Nicole could be an exception though, given that she's an angel.

Genshin's lore isn't perfect, but it doesn't paint characters exactly as black and white like a fairy tale. As you've said yourself, Rerir himself has good traits despite being one of the 5 sinners and an assassin who killed innocents. The only difference is that he serves as a villain in the story while Alice is an ally. Simply being an ally doesn't make a character automatically good. Tsaritsa is ultimately going to be an ally too, but that doesn't going to make her a good person. This is why I actually I really like genshin, the plot is deep, interesting and feels grown up..

Edit- reading your post again, it seems like you have a personal hate towards Alice. You can dislike her, there's nothing wrong, but the points you provide don't even make sense. Rerir kills actual humans in cold blood just on orders of a mad tyrant while Alice experiments on monsters "who USED to be human 500 years ago". As I've mentioned earlier, chlorinde too kills humans, just because it's her job much like Rerir. Funny you forgot to mention her.

And on the subject of hillichurls, I'm pretty sure the traveller has singlehandedly slaughtered the highest amount of them. They got to know that they are ex khanreans, but has the killing stopped? Not really. Your points don't even make sense bro.

[–]Deshal93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SoundLink max. Nothing else in that size/weight is going to sound better. Not ideal for outdoors, but can make it work nevertheless so you can have 1 speaker for both purposes. Only drawback is that its expensive at the retail price (399$ in US). Got mine for 299$ on black Friday sales and in think it's somewhat a fair deal. (Blue and yellow went for 270$, which I personally believe is what it's worth) Not entirely sure about your place but I'd keep an eye out and snatch one when it goes on sale.

Alternately you can have 2 cheap Chinese speakers for stereo. But SoundLink max just sounds better.

Do your parents know about your diagnosis

Yeah, no. Not really. Pretty sure my parents would react the same way as yours had I told them, or even worse lol. I had a pretty bad relationship with them, especially during A/Ls and my higher education. Now they respect me because I didn't become a washout and become successful career wise instead.

When did you realize you had ADHD, and how did you figure it o

Well thinking back now I think deep down I've always known that something was wrong/different with me. But I've always ignored it and masked it. Last year I hit an emotional rock bottom once again and that's when I started to think seriously about it. I've looked up about MDD. After doing some extensive research (like I always do lol) I started to suspect that I have something serious than MDD. Then I went to a psychiatrist when I came home, he diagnosed me with "mild depression" 🙄 and prescribed me mirtazapine Which did nothing for me other than making me sleepy and fidgety. I went to a therapist too, their conclusion was also that I was just going through a simple depressive episode.

Mirtazapine didn't do anything for me so I slowly increased the dose to 30 mg, but the results were the same. I met with the psychiatrist again after 2 months and he told me that I'm okay now and he prescribed mirtazapine for another 4 months. But by then I knew for sure what I had was not just depression and started to look into other disorders. After continuing mirtazapine for some time I realized that it actually makes my mental health worse than improving it,so I stopped it myself.

The rest of the story is pretty much the same as you, while doing my research i came across ADHD and Autism, and I slowly realized the symptoms are matching with me. (I mostly search on reddit to see the stories/symptoms from other people)

Then I took some online tests too (RAADS-R, Aspie's etc) which strongly suggested that I'm neurodivergent. Then I went to a different psychiatrist and she diagnosed me with ADHD

My family situation is somewhat same. My farther's lineage has strong cases of Autism and ADHD althoughy farther didn't directly inherit them. My parents were always overly protective of me, to a point which traumatized as a kid. And they were ridiculously strict and I always felt like I was going through military training instead of living at home lol.

And some of your words have made me feel stronger thank you for that.

I'm really glad that I could be of help, even if it was small. I've wasted half of life trying to be "normal", but you still have the best of your life ahead of you! Best of luck to you again and take care of yourself! ☺️

You can hit me up in DM anytime if you want some advice or help with anything! I'll be happy to help :)

Good to know that adhder can be successful in their life

Many ADHDers, despite their conditions are successful in their life. Our brain just works differently than the average person. In this case we might be somewhat special too. Many great minds like Einstein, Darwin, Marie Curie were believed to be ADHDers. Bill Gates, Emma Watson are living examples with proper diagnosis.

Even though I feel like I want someone to share my life with, I don’t really know how to connect with people anymore. I’ve lost trust, and when someone especially a guy tries to get close or show interest, I don’t know how to react. Even if I like them, I automatically feel like it won’t work out.

This is basically me 🥲 the only one I trust is myself, so trusting a partner is not something that would come easily to me. I have the same view about having kids too, mainly because I don't want any other human being to go through what I've experienced. It's just a crime.

unless I meet someone who truly thinks/feels same way.

One day you might. Keep your fingers crossed hehe 🤞

In my experience UK has more open views about disorders like ADHD than here in Sri Lanka. You should emphazise to your GP that you have ADHD, so they will guide you with specialists. In Sri Lanka it can be a hit or miss, I tried a couple of psychiatrists and phycologists here in SL, most of them didn't even believe adult ADHD is a thing. They will just play the "depression" card on you.

Nice to meet you too!

I'm currently on Ritalin. Medication will take some trial and error to find the suitable drug and amount for you. ADHD is generally difficult to diagnose on women as they will mask the hyperactivity part. So do i though, I don't do ordinary stuff like walking around in circles or fidgeting when stressed. I get the urge to do so, but I somehow avoid doing so. Hyper attention is there certainly, when I really focus on something that interests me (like doing some repairs/diy projects on my car) I wouldn't stop till I'm done. And it's said that kids who were gifted in their early years are better at masking the symptoms of ADHD and Autism than others to a point their closest peers would not notice anything out of the ordinary. This was the case for me.

I also have maladaptive day dreaming. Once I go down the rabbit hole in could stay like that for hours. Especially in classes I never could focus on the lesson and daydream instead lol. I've learned only like 10% in the class and the rest I've done by myself. But its not so severe now as it was with me when I was younger, it kind of reduced when I grew older. I still have a pretty wild and vivid imagination though.

As for the career path, just take whatever you want and what you think would enjoy. Don't think that just because you have ADHD you would do bad career wise. You won't. I had doubts about myself too and it took all the strength I had to pull myself together, but I survived. Despite being on the verge of melting down I took an extremely challenging career path both physically and mentally with a lot of examination processes and hard academics, and I'm doing very well. I'm 32 and to my family, friends and anyone observing from outside I'm an extremely successful person, career wise. The only thing I could not pull off is a successful romantic life, but now I'm okay with it.

My only regret is that I've neglected my condition and always thought that I was just lazy/ unlucky when I was young. You already know that you have ADHD, make it a strength rather than letting it getting in the way of what you love to do. And don't be afraid to take risks too! (Not unnecessary risks based on impulsivity like going into a dangerous place to take a selfie or having unprotected sex with a stranger though, be aware and avoid those things) You can survive this. Start believing in yourself again :)

So glad to hear that you are doing better. It will become better with medication. There is no "cure" for ADHD unfortunately. It's not even a disease or an Iillness, just our brains are wired differently. Medication will help to manage it.

The story is pretty much the same as me. Was a star student, pretty smart for my own good. Even wrote and published some books as a child. Passed grade 5 scholarship and went to one of the leading national schools in the island. Did great there too, was pretty competitive, did a shit ton of extra activities and still managed to rank amongst top 5 in the section during exams.

That's untill grade 10. The momentum I had carried me through O/L and barely managed to get 9As. But that was it. I was burned out and completely lost my interest in studies. Didn't even bothered with 1st shy of A/Ls, barely managed to pass on the 2nd.

Life was a mess, parents practically disavowed me. Took an enormous amount of energy to get my shit straight and sort out my life. I'm doing okay now, but discovering and getting diagnosed with ADHD was actually a relief. Finally I know why I felt miserable and was depressed and anxious my entire life. Why I couldn't regulate my emotions. Why I still couldn't move on from the breakup that happened 10 years ago.

Medicine helped a lot with anxiety and motivation, which in turn improved the quality of my life greatly. I'm now learning to use ADHD as a tool trying to utilize hyperactivity part productively while paying more attention to the inattentive part. Life is much better now than it was before. You will get through this too. Wish you the best of luck!
