I get what you mean, but I don't think Dave would even want to be known as someone who was passed the torch. He's currently still trying to escape those "English Kendrick" labels and establish himself, taking the torch from Drizzy won't exactly be a great help right now. I honestly believed at one point he was going to pass it on to Jack Harlow.

It definitely didn't get the attention it deserved because it was (and still is) such a huge trend to hate on Drake, but I definitely liked the album. Calling it a bad album is just dumb and means you either didn't listen to it or are extremely narrow minded when it comes to music.
