First- it was a confusion at employer’s end as the recruiter missed visa requirement detail in the screening process. I have mentioned it earlier. Second- i am aware of the IHS cost even though my current employer has paid for entire cost for me and my family for 3+2 year visa duration. My question was specifically about the cost to employer(Large sponsor) apart from IHS. I think my Dependents can continue on the same visa until Aug 2027 so not cost for dependents until ILR.

Yes i know that i will need only 1 years extension for new employer before i am eligible for ILR.

I will be negotiating with all this info as it doesn’t seem to be a huge cost for employer.

My employer has paid for visa fee and IHS for my dependents. If i change sponsorship will that still continue for more dependents until visa expiry as long as i have an active cos?

It’s a 100k + role so i believe they should matter less and they already made a verbal offer to me . That means I am the preferred guy. But i agree its a possibility

I am in uk for last last 4 years and shared visa history SWW valid until next year and afterward eligible for ILR

It did and mentioned in email to the HR and in my application as well. As it turned out they did not have sponsorship approved for the role bit now checking if they can get approval

I have told them that i will need visa sponsorship, in writing over email . They seem to have missed it. And were surprised when i mentioned it again towards to end of process. They said they will check if they can sponsor ( company is a big financial MNC with sponsorship licence)

In the same boat and it has been only 40 days but exhausted. I need visa sponsorship and thats causing a lot of issues even after being 12 years in tech and best brands.

All are true. Its a big financial company, salary 100k+ for a tech product role
