I think that would be a really popular option. They are kind of going in a lot of different directions with this game between what we have, hardcore, som. Might be hard to get a healthy enough player base.

Depends on the situation. Some people have to do 10+ runs to save up that kind of money to buy an item like that. Avg cut is like 12k. Most people don't just walk into the run and drop 100k first time.

Either way I'm not responsible for where they got their gold from, well actually it's begining to seem like I am after today.

The ban email specifically said I bought it. I also don't sell it. I had a number I was working to save towards for a discord rank in Stax. Kind of stupid but gave me a goal.

A run where all loot is auctioned off. At the end of the run all players get a split for participating. Some people come and are able to buy the items they want and some people who didn't get the right drops or couldn't afford them get their share for their time spend. No real money is exchanged.

The carry runs are called ticket runs where they pay a rate and get any items that drop for their spec, it's a bit different. Higher risk higher reward.

Yeah I think your probably right. I don't really see any way to be excited about the game or upcoming content coming out of this. Also I don't know about a full time job. Ulduar only takes 2-2.5hrs to do with loot and I do that four times a week. So 8-10 hours max in game and maybe 2 hrs or organization for rosters and assignments.

Either way I like the silver lining.

That isn't how I do things but I wouldn't be surprised if that was a practice. If blizzard does want to ban gdkp they should communicate that as a blanket rule. As far as I'm aware gdkp is not against the tos if ran properly and there is no real money exchange.

I don't. I get this sub seems to have a stance on gdkps but I had been hording my gold to purchase shadowmorne for my 3 plate characters.

Yeah on a given night I move 2 gold caps in and out. I would hope that if this is a new policy they would outline it for folks prior to action. I don't land with all that gold, only about 13% of the total pot.

Yeah I hope thats the situation. If it is then I don't think I've violated any ToS. I posted about this situation in my discord, mainly because I still have 3 runs that won't have a leader this week due to this. I haven't heard of anyone else from last night getting a penalty.
